Red Wings vs Blue Jackets | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Blue Jackets -138 Favorites

Columbus will try to finish the season strong in the first of two home games against Detroit to close out the campaign. The Blue Jackets are coming off a 4-2 upset win over the Predators as +160 home underdogs on Wednesday, with the OVER cashing in their second straight game. The Red Wings would also like to end on a positive note but have lost four of five and seven of nine. The teams have split six meetings so far this year, with the UNDER going a perfect 6-0.

Flyers vs Capitals | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Capitals -200 Favorites

Washington will be looking to move back into a tie atop the East Division in the opener of a two-game home set versus Philadelphia. The Capitals just completed a two-game sweep of the Rangers as small road favorites, bouncing back from two consecutive losses to the Penguins. The Flyers have been eliminated from postseason contention, and they have lost five straight meetings since winning the first one 7-4 on February 7, with the OVER going 5-1.

Stars vs Lightning | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -155 Favorites

Dallas will attempt to end a five-game losing streak and remain alive for a spot in the playoffs in the finale of a two-game road series at Tampa Bay. The Stars play their last seven games on the road and have started their trip at 0-2-2 with two overtime losses to the Predators and Panthers. The Lightning then routed them 6-2 as -160 home favorites in the opener of this series on Wednesday, with the OVER cashing easily to end a 3-0 UNDER run. Tampa Bay has won six of the seven meetings this season since the teams met in last year’s Stanley Cup Final.

Ducks vs Wild | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Wild -260 Favorites

Minnesota wraps up a season-high seven-game homestand by hosting Anaheim in the first of two. The Wild have dropped three of the first five games at home following a 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights as -105 underdogs Wednesday, with the OVER on a 6-1 run in their last seven overall. The Ducks have alternated wins and losses in their past six games overall, with the UNDER going 5-1 during that stretch. Minnesota has won five of the six meetings to date.

Blues vs Golden Knights | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -144 Favorites

Vegas hopes to move closer to clinching its third division title in four years of existence in the first of back-to-back home games against St. Louis. The Golden Knights salvaged a two-game road split versus the Wild on Wednesday, rallying back for a 3-2 overtime victory as -115 favorites, with the UNDER cashing for the third time in their last four. The Blues are essentially locked into the fourth spot in the West Division despite losing two of three and having five more games left on their schedule. In addition, Vegas has won four of the six meetings this season.

Avalanche vs Kings | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Avalanche -255 Favorites

Colorado continues a five-game road trip at Los Angeles and looks to rebound from a tough loss at San Jose. The Avalanche had won three games in a row before falling 3-2 to the Sharks as -290 favorites on Wednesday. That loss could prove costly for them since they are trying to catch the Golden Knights for the West Division title and trail them by four points with one game in hand. The Kings have lost three of the first four meetings in this series but play them four more times in their last five games. Los Angeles has won two straight overall and three of four.

Coyotes vs Sharks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Coyotes -113 Favorites

Arizona rides a three-game skid into San Jose to end its year. The Coyotes have also lost five of six, seven of nine and 12 of 15 to put themselves on the outside looking in on the playoffs. The UNDER is 3-1 in Arizona’s last four games overall as well. The Sharks halted their three-game losing streak with a 3-2 upset victory against the Avalanche as +240 home underdogs on Wednesday, and they had also dropped 11 of 13 prior to that win. These teams have split six meetings, with the OVER going 5-1, and the winner scoring four goals or more each time.
