Opening NHL Odds: Capitals -115 Favorites

Boston and Washington are already set to meet in Game 1 of the first round of the East Division playoffs on Saturday at Capital One Arena, making this final regular-season matchup for both teams meaningless. The Capitals have already clinched the second seed in the East while the Bruins are the third seed. Washington rallied back to defeat Philadelphia 2-1 in overtime as a -140 home favorite on Saturday while Boston fell 5-4 to the New York Rangers as -320 home chalk. The Bruins bounced back to beat the Islanders 3-2 in OT as -165 home favorites on Monday to move within two points of the Capitals, who own the tiebreaker based on more regulation wins. Boston has won four of the first seven meetings, with the OVER going 5-1-1 in those contests.

Canucks vs Jets | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Jets -182 Favorites

Vancouver will try to pull off another upset of Winnipeg and complete a two-game sweep in the last meeting of the season between the teams. The Canucks are coming off a 3-1 win over the Jets as +145 road underdogs on Monday, with the UNDER cashing for the first time in three games for them. Vancouver had dropped seven of its previous eight games. Winnipeg still leads Montreal by one point for third place in the North Division with one game in hand despite the team losing two in a row and nine of 10, with the UNDER on a 3-1 run. The Jets will host the Maple Leafs in their last game of the regular season on Friday, and they had won five of the previous six meetings with the Canucks, who still have five more games remaining after this one.
