Wild vs Blues | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Pick’em -111 Odds

St. Louis hopes to close out the regular season with its third consecutive victory and second win in a row over Minnesota in the finale of a two-game series on Thursday. The Blues blanked the Wild 4-0 as +140 home underdogs on Wednesday, with the UNDER cashing for the fifth time in their last six games overall. Minnesota had seen the OVER go 8-1 in its previous nine games, but St. Louis goaltender Ville Husso made 31 saves to earn his first career shutout. The Blues have now won five of the seven meetings with the Wild this season, although they have lost three of four when playing the second game of a back-to-back situation. The Wild have won two of three under the exact same scenario along with six of nine, with the OVER on a 4-2 run.

Canucks vs Flames | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Flames -196 Favorites

Calgary opens a four-game series with Vancouver to wrap up a disappointing campaign. The Flames stopped a two-game skid with a 6-1 rout of the Senators as -180 home favorites on Sunday, with the OVER cashing to halt a 4-0 UNDER run. Despite being eliminated from playoff contention, they can still finish the year over the .500 mark with a sweep of the Canucks. Vancouver is not as fortunate even though the team still has five games remaining to make up for missing time due to COVID-19 protocols. The Canucks have suffered through an even more dismal season, dropping two of their last three games and eight of 10. Vancouver has lost four of the six meetings in 2021, and the team visits Edmonton on Saturday before hosting Calgary.

Kings vs Avalanche | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Avalanche -385 Favorites

Colorado can win the West Division along with the Presidents’ Trophy by completing a two-game home sweep of Los Angeles. The Avalanche routed the Kings 6-0 as -360 favorites behind a hat trick from J.T. Compher in the opener of the series on Wednesday for their fourth straight win overall and seventh in eight games. The OVER also cashed to end a 4-0 UNDER run for Colorado. Los Angeles has lost four in a row overall following that defeat and five straight meetings in this series since winning 4-2 as a +190 home underdog back on January 21. If the Avalanche lose here, then the Golden Knights would win both the West and the Presidents’ Trophy.
