Edmonton brings a three-game winning streak into this matchup with Vancouver before facing off with Winnipeg in the first round of the North Division playoffs. The Oilers are coming off three consecutive 4-3 wins, including the last two against the Canadiens, with the OVER on a 4-0 run. Edmonton has also won six of its last seven games along with 12 of 16 dating back to April 7. Meanwhile, the Canucks have lost two games in a row and three of four going into this one before wrapping up their season versus the Flames in a three-game series. Vancouver has seen the UNDER cash in its last three games as well, and the team has dropped six of the past nine meetings in this series. The OVER is on a 3-1 series run and has cashed in six of nine.

Bruins vs Capitals | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Capitals -128 Odds

The East Division playoffs will kick off on Saturday when Washington hosts Boston in Game 1 of their series. The Capitals finished second in the East despite totaling the same number of points as the division champion Penguins with 77, losing the tiebreaker due to less regulation wins. The Bruins came on late in the season following the return of goaltender Tuukka Rask, as he won seven of his last nine starts down the stretch to help them finish third in the East. Rask beat Washington on April 18 even though he gave up three goals, with Boston winning 6-3 as a -155 home favorite. Overall, the Bruins won four of the seven meetings during the regular season, with the OVER going 5-1-1. They have alternated losses and wins in their last six.
