Panthers vs Lightning | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -132 Favorites

Tampa Bay can take a commanding 3-0 lead in this best-of-seven Central Division playoff series with another victory in Game 3 versus Florida back at home. The defending Stanley Cup champion Lightning took care of business in the first two games on the road by winning both and have never lost a postseason series when leading 2-0. The Panthers fell 3-1 in a pick’em Game 2 matchup on Tuesday, dropping consecutive games for the first time since April 10. Prior to the playoffs, Florida had put together a six-game winning streak, beating Tampa twice.

Penguins vs Islanders | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Islanders -112 Favorites

New York will look to bounce back from a loss in Game 2 by beating Pittsburgh in Game 3 at home. The Islanders are coming off a 2-1 loss to the Penguins as +120 road underdogs on Tuesday despite goaltender Semyon Varlamov returning to action and stopping 43 of 45 shots. Pittsburgh successfully rebounded behind a solid effort between the pipes from goalie Tristan Jarry, who made 37 saves. The Penguins got off to a quick 2-0 lead in the first period behind goals from Bryan Rust and Jeff Carter, and they have now won seven of the past nine meetings.

Canadiens vs Maple Leafs | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Maple Leafs -222 Favorites

One of the most highly anticipated playoff series of the first round will start in Toronto when Montreal visits Scotiabank Arena for Game 1. The Maple Leafs have not advanced past this round since 2004 and won a division title for the first time since the 1999-2000 season. The Canadiens are hoping to have goalie Carey Price (lower body and concussion) and winger Brendan Gallagher (thumb) back from injuries after they were reassigned to the AHL on Sunday for conditioning. Toronto won seven of the 10 meetings with Montreal during the regular season, including four of the five games played at home, with the UNDER going 6-2-1 in the last nine.

Golden Knights vs Wild | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -137 Favorites

Minnesota hopes to retake the series lead at home in Game 3 of this first-round playoff matchup with Vegas. The Wild outplayed the Golden Knights in the first period of Game 2 and took a 1-0 lead in the second before their opponent struck twice to carry a 2-1 advantage into the third. Vegas then added a late tally for a 3-1 victory to even this best-of-seven series as a -170 home favorite, with the UNDER improving to 4-0-1 in the team’s last five games. Minnesota has still won six of the past eight meetings and owns one of the best home records in the NHL at 21-5-2. The UNDER is on a 3-0 series run too and has cashed in five of the last six games between them.
