Opening NHL Odds: Pick’em -111 Odds

Tampa Bay will look to go up 2-0 on Carolina in the second of the first two games at PNC Arena in this Central Division second-round playoff series. The defending Stanley Cup champion Lightning edged the Hurricanes 2-1 as -105 road underdogs in Sunday’s series opener thanks to Barclay Goodrow’s game-winning goal at the 12:39 mark of the third period. Tampa Bay goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 37 of 38 shots and has allowed only one goal now in his last two starts.

Carolina counterpart Alex Nedeljkovic made 28 saves but has given up two goals or more in five consecutive games since shutting out Nashville in Game 2 of the first round. The UNDER has cashed in three straight games overall for the Lightning, who have won five of the past seven meetings with the Hurricanes after dropping four of the previous five in the series. The UNDER also has continued its incredible run in this series, going 9-1-1 dating back to 2019.
