Lightning vs Islanders | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -133 Favorites

Tampa Bay will be looking to take a commanding 3-1 series lead back home after Game 4 of this Stanley Cup semifinal matchup with New York on Saturday. The Lightning edged the Islanders 2-1 as -135 road favorites in Game 3 on Thursday, as center Brayden Point scored a goal in his sixth straight game and goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 27 of 28 shots to lead the defending Stanley Cup champions.

The Islanders got their lone goal from Cal Clutterbuck late in the second period, but Point scored the game-winner a little more than two minutes later. Tampa Bay has won 18 of the past 25 meetings in this series now, and the UNDER has cashed in eight of the team’s last 10 games overall. New York has dropped two games in a row for just the second time this postseason, and the UNDER is 2-1 in its last three overall after the OVER went 5-1-1 in the previous seven, including 4-1-1 in the second round versus the Boston Bruins.
