Golden Knights vs Canadiens | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -154 Favorites

Montreal hopes to take a 3-1 series lead back to Vegas after Game 4 of their Stanley Cup semifinal series matchup on Sunday. The Canadiens took a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series after upsetting the Golden Knights 3-2 in overtime as +155 home underdogs in Game 3 on Friday. Montreal got two goals from Josh Anderson, including the game-tying score with just under two minutes remaining after Vegas goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury’s costly giveaway. The Golden Knights seemingly had Game 3 won after defenseman Alex Pietrangelo scored at the 2:22 mark of the third period, which was his third goal in two games.

The Canadiens have won seven of the nine all-time meetings, and the total landed on the closing number of five goals for the second straight time in the series. The UNDER is 3-1-2 in the last six games overall for Montreal and 7-3-2 in the team’s previous 12 outings. Vegas fell to 3-4 on the road during the postseason compared to 6-3 at home, with the UNDER going 4-1-1 in its past six games away from home.
