Lightning vs Blue Jackets | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -167 Favorites

The Lightning will try to move one step closer to avenging last year’s postseason sweep by the Blue Jackets when they meet in Game 4 of their best-of-seven series on Monday afternoon. Tampa Bay beat Columbus 3-2 for the second time in the first three games on Saturday, cashing as a -165 favorite at the sportsbooks. The total pushed to move to 2-0-1 in the series, and the UNDER is 6-0-1 in the last seven games for the Lightning overall. The UNDER is also on an 8-2-1 run for the Blue Jackets.

Avalanche vs Coyotes | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Avalanche -185 Favorites

The Coyotes will look to ride the momentum of a strong performance from goaltender Darcy Kuemper in an attempt to even their series with the Avalanche in Game 4. Kuemper made 49 saves in Saturday’s 4-2 victory against Colorado, finally getting enough offensive support to pick up a win. Arizona was outscored 6-2 in losing the first two games of the series, when he stopped 62 of 68 shots. The Avalanche finished with their lowest goal total since their first game in round-robin play on August 2 and failed to win as a strong -170 favorite, as the UNDER has also cashed in four of their six postseason games.

Bruins vs Hurricanes | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Pick’em -107 Odds

The Bruins showed a lot of heart and determination in taking a 2-1 lead over the Hurricanes despite being short-handed on Saturday, and now they will attempt to take a commanding 3-1 series lead in Game 4. Boston found out that goaltender Tuukka Rask opted out of the playoffs before Game 3 and then proceeded to see Jaroslav Halak hold down the fort with 29 saves in a 3-1 victory as a +100 underdog. The Bruins also played again without leading scorer David Pastrnak, who has missed the last two games due to undisclosed reasons. One big loss for the Hurricanes though is 20-year-old Andrei Svechnikov (seven points), who suffered a leg injury in Game 3 and will likely miss the rest of this series.

Blues vs Canucks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Blues -143 Favorites

The defending champs are back, at least for one game after the Blues edged the Canucks 3-2 in overtime on Sunday to earn their first victory of the postseason. St. Louis got the game-winning goal from Brayden Schenn at the 15:06 mark of OT to reward backers who took a shot at -135 despite the team’s 0-4-1 playoff record. Vancouver saw its five-game winning streak end, and now must try to overcome a mediocre 3-3-1 record in its last seven when playing the second game of a back-to-back situation. The Blues have been much better in that scenario, winning seven of nine when playing the second game of a back-to-back.
