Hurricanes at Sabres | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Hurricanes -125 Favorites
The Hurricanes will be looking to put together a winning streak for the first time since November 1 when they visit the Sabres on Thursday. Carolina ended a four-game skid with an 8-2 rout of Ottawa as a -240 home favorite on Monday. Buffalo has also struggled lately, dropping five in a row since an impressive 9-2-1 start, including back-to-back losses to Tampa Bay in Sweden last Friday and Saturday. The UNDER is on a 4-2 run for the Sabres as well.
Rangers at Lightning | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -250 Favorites
The Lightning return home after sweeping the Sabres in a two-game series in Sweden by a combined score of 8-5 last Friday and Saturday. Tampa Bay closed as a solid favorite each time and has been favored in all but one of the first 15 games. The Rangers open a two-game road trip through Florida here and have won three of four with the UNDER also going 3-1.
Jets at Panthers | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Panthers -150 Favorites
The Panthers open a four-game homestand against the Jets after taking two of three on a recently completed road trip. Florida is coming off a 5-4 upset of Boston as a +140 road underdog in a shootout on Tuesday, with the OVER cashing for the seventh time in the team’s last nine games. Winnipeg just finished up a four-game homestand at 2-2 following a 4-0 loss to Colorado as a -115 favorite on Tuesday, and the UNDER cashed in each of those games.
Coyotes at Wild | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Wild -115 Favorites
The Coyotes look to complete a perfect road trip at 3-0 when they visit the Wild. Arizona has upset the last two Stanley Cup champs in the first two games of the trip in Washington and St. Louis as a solid underdog each time. Minnesota has alternated wins and losses in its last five and ended a four-game road trip with a 3-1 loss at Los Angeles as a -120 favorite on Tuesday. The Wild were coming off a 4-3 win over the Coyotes though as +125 underdogs on Saturday.
Avalanche at Oilers | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Oilers -148 Favorites
The Avalanche continue a five-game road trip versus the Oilers after blanking the Jets 4-0 as -105 underdogs in the opener on Tuesday. Colorado has won three in a row now by a combined score of 17-6 following a season-high five-game losing streak. Edmonton is coming off a 6-3 loss at San Jose on Tuesday as a +115 underdog, and the OVER is on a 3-1 run.
Stars at Canucks | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Canucks -140 Favorites
The Stars will be playing the second game of a four-game road trip through Canada, as they try to bounce back from a 3-2 loss to the Jets as +100 underdogs in the opener on Sunday. That setback ended their four-game winning streak, but the UNDER cashed for the fourth straight time and has also gone 8-1 in their last nine and 12-2 in their past 14. The Canucks halted their four-game skid with a 5-3 win over the Predators as +105 home dogs on Tuesday.
Sharks at Ducks | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Sharks -115 Favorites
The Sharks bring a season-high four-game winning streak into this Pacific Division road matchup with the Ducks. San Jose won the last four games of a six-game homestand that opened with two straight losses as part of a longer five-game skid overall. Anaheim is headed in the opposite direction, dropping four games in a row, with the OVER on a 3-0 run.
Red Wings at Kings | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Kings -145 Favorites
The Red Wings are riding a season-high three-game winning streak after upsetting the Bruins, Golden Knights and Ducks as underdogs each time. Detroit had gone 1-11-1 in its previous 13 games. The Kings are coming off a 3-1 victory against the Wild as +100 underdogs on Tuesday after going 1-6-1 in eight games prior. The UNDER has also cashed in four straight for Los Angeles after a 4-0-1 OVER run.
