Wild at Sabres | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Sabres -125 Favorites

The struggling Sabres will try for their second win in nine games on Tuesday when they host the Wild. Buffalo plays just one of its next four games at home and just fell 4-1 to Chicago as a +110 road underdog on Sunday. Meanwhile, Minnesota has also failed to play consistently well this season, winning consecutive games only once. The Wild have alternated losses and wins in their last seven games following a 4-3 defeat to the Hurricanes as +100 home dogs.

Canadiens at Blue Jackets  | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Canadiens -110 Favorites

The Canadiens will look to rebound from their first loss in four games when they visit the Blue Jackets. Montreal forwards Jonathan Drouin (15 points) and Paul Byron (four) were both injured in Friday’s 5-2 victory at Washington as a +140 road favorite, and then the team lost 4-3 to New Jersey as a -155 home favorite on Saturday. Columbus won for just the second time in nine games on Friday, upsetting St. Louis 3-2 as a -105 home dog. The UNDER is also 5-0-1 in the past six games for the Blue Jackets.

Islanders at Penguins | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Penguins -125 Favorites

Two of the top teams in the Metropolitan Division will square off in Pittsburgh when the Penguins host the Islanders. Pittsburgh ended a 10-game winning streak for New York on November 7 with a 4-3 comeback victory in overtime as a -105 road dog after falling behind 3-0. The Islanders have since won three games in a row by one goal apiece while the Penguins have gone 2-2, with both wins coming at home and the UNDER going 3-1 during that stretch.

Jets at Predators  | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Predators -160 Favorites

The Predators will attempt to stop a season-high four-game losing streak when they host the Jets. Nashville has been outscored 23-10 during its skid, with the OVER going 4-1 in its last five games as well. Winnipeg has won four of five, with three of the wins decided by exactly one goal. The OVER has also cashed in two straight for the Jets after a 4-0 UNDER run.

Lightning at Blues | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -125 Favorites

The Lightning begin a two-game road trip in St. Louis against the defending Stanley Cup champion Blues before visiting the Blackhawks on Thursday. Tampa Bay saw its three-game winning streak end with a 4-3 loss to Winnipeg as a -240 home favorite on Saturday. The OVER is 5-1 in the team’s last six games. St. Louis has dropped three games in a row following a seven-game winning streak, with the UNDER on a 4-0 run in its previous four.

Hurricanes at Blackhawks  | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Hurricanes -115 Favorites

The Blackhawks bring a season-high four-game winning streak into this matchup with the Hurricanes. Chicago won three of the four as an underdog, with the OVER going 3-1. Carolina has won three straight games with the OVER cashing each time after dropping a season-high four in a row. The Hurricanes have also won the past four meetings in the series.

Maple Leafs at Golden Knights | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -139 Favorites

The Golden Knights are hoping to put together their first two-game winning streak since October 19 when they host the Maple Leafs. Vegas ended a season-high five-game losing streak with a 6-0 rout of Calgary as a -160 home favorite on Sunday. Toronto started that skid with a 2-1 overtime victory as a -155 home favorite on November 7 but has dropped a season-high five straight games since then, with three of those losses coming on the road.

Oilers at Sharks  | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Sharks -140 Favorites

The Sharks are riding a season-high six-game winning streak into this Pacific Division clash with the Oilers. San Jose has found a way to win despite surrendering three goals or more four times in their last five, with the OVER going 4-1 during that stretch. Edmonton remains in the Pacific lead even though the team has lost two of three and four of seven. In the last three losses for the Oilers, they have given up five goals or more, with the OVER on a 4-0 run. One of those three losses was a 6-3 defeat to the Sharks one week ago as +115 road dogs.

Also on today’s schedule: Flyers at Panthers, Bruins at Devils, Senators at Red Wings, Canucks at Stars and Avalanche at Flames.
