We’ve got a nice five-game slate tonight, and several players at each position are jumping out as great value options who are either in critical roles for their team or proving great production.

This value sheet includes salaries, projections for DraftKings and FanDuel, and three punt defencemen options.

These projections don’t tell you exactly what’s going to happen. One game sample has too much randomness to pin down exact predictions. Instead, the projections represent a player’s average performance on average if that matchup was played repeatedly. There is a wide range of possible outcomes, and the projections represent each player’s average of those possibilities.

FULL DFO Daily Projections

Adam Henrique (C, ANA) – @ DET – (DK-$3,300 / FD -$4,200)
DFO Projection:
DK-8.72 / FD-11.32

Henrique is red hot right now with five goals in his last four games, including a hat trick Sunday against the New Jersey Devils. He pops as a stronger value play on DraftKings, as the best value forward, but the seventh best on FanDuel. Despite a tougher matchup from the perspective of a line, his recent production can’t be ignored.

Gabriel Vilardi (W, WPG) – vs. MTL- ($4,600 / $5,200)
DFO Projection:
DK-9.69 / FD-12.78

Another player who is red, red hot here. He’s finding his stride after missing time earlier this season, and has scored four goals and seven points in his last four games. He’s on the Jets’ top line, and has a tremendous matchup against Montreal. Lock him in.

Brock Faber (D, MIN) – at MIN – ($4,000 / $4,300)
DFO Projection:
DK-8.37 / FD-11.01

Faber is popping as an excellent value play on both sites, partially in thanks to his huge amounts of ice time. With both Jonas Brodin and Jared Spurgeon still battling injury, he’s played over 60 minutes of ice time in the last two games, seeing time on the top power play, and top penalty kill unit.

David Savard (D, MTL) – @ WPG – ($4,000 / $3,900)
DFO Projection:
DK-6.63 / FD-8.51

Savard looks like a strong play on both sites tonight, and will have the chance to block 100-million shots against the Jets tonight.

Scott Wedgewood (G, DAL) – vs. SEA – ($8,200 / $8,400)
DFO Projection:
DK-13.76 / FD-19.06

Despite being one of the most expensive options on the slate, Wedgewood will see good shot volume — and hopefully few goals — from a Kraken side that struggles to produce offence.

Top 3 Punt Defencemen

  1. Ilya Lyubushkin ($3,000/$3,700): DK-5.01 / FD-6.28
  2. Jeff Petry ($3,500/$4,000): DK-6.84 / FD-8.92
  3. Dylan DeMelo ($3,100/$3,900): DK-6.18 / FD-8.12
