We’ve got a big 11-game slate tonight, and several players at each position are jumping out as great value options who are either in critical roles for their team or proving great production.

This value sheet includes salaries, projections for DraftKings and FanDuel, and three punt defencemen options.

These projections don’t tell you exactly what’s going to happen. One game sample has too much randomness to pin down exact predictions. Instead, the projections represent a player’s average performance on average if that matchup was played repeatedly. There is a wide range of possible outcomes, and the projections represent each player’s average of those possibilities.

FULL DFO Daily Projections

Nick Paul (C, TBL) – vs. STL – (DK-$3,800 / FD -$4,600)
DFO Projection:
DK-6.5 / FD-8.32

Elevated to the Lightning’s top line, Paul affords some salary relief on one DFO DFS Charts’ third-ranked line. He also skates on the top power-play unit and is in a great spot against the St. Louis Blues as a low-owned option.

Dylan Cozens (C, BUF) – vs. CBJ- ($4,300 / $4,800)
DFO Projection:
DK-9.44 / FD-12.38

From a low-owned spot, to a chaulky spot, everyone is on Dylan Cozens tonight and the Sabres in a smash spot tonight. BUF2, featuring Cozens, Casey Mittlestadt and JJ Peterka project as the Sabres’ top offensive line. They’re the best value option on the slate, but come as one of the highest owned.

Brock Faber (D, MIN) – at MIN – ($3,700 / $4,600)
DFO Projection:
DK-8.37 / FD-11.01

Faber has seen a price drop on DraftKings and a price increase on FanDuel., but it remains one of the top-value plays on both sites. He paid off yesterday against Pittsburgh, with an assist, two shots and a block in 28:15 of ice time.

Devon Toews (D, COL) – @ CHI – ($5,300 / $5,000)
DFO Projection:
DK-9.8 / FD-12.98

There isn’t much salary relief here, but with Cale Makar out, Toews will be on the top power play unit as the Avalanche take on the Chicago Blackhawks. The opportunity is there for a big night.

Ilya Sorokin (G, NYI) – vs. EDM – ($7,400 / $8,600)
DFO Projection:
DK-11.94 / FD-15.8

A much stronger play on DraftKings, Sorokin’s Islanders take on the Edmonton Oilers. While there’s inherent risk of the Oilers popping off offensively, they’ve shaken up their top-six, and Sorokin will be live for the 35-save bonus. A $6,700 Vitek Vanecek on FanDuel is the most appetizing option there.

Top 3 Punt Defencemen

  1. Connor Murphy ($3,600/$3,800): DK-7.00 / FD-8.56
  2. Bowen Byram ($4,000/$4,300): DK-7.9 / FD-10.3
  3. Jordan Spence ($2,600/$3,800): DK-5.2 / FD-6.93
