We’ve got a small, three game slate tonight with three heavy favourites, and several players at each position are jumping out as great value options who are either in critical roles for their team or providing great production.

This value sheet includes salaries, projections for DraftKings and FanDuel, and three punt defencemen options.

These projections don’t tell you exactly what’s going to happen. One game sample has too much randomness to pin down exact predictions. Instead, the projections represent a player’s average performance on average if that matchup was played repeatedly. There is a wide range of possible outcomes, and the projections represent each player’s average of those possibilities.

FULL DFO Daily Projections

Morgan Frost (C, PHI) – vs MTL – (DK-$3,200 / FD -$4,800)
DFO Projection:
DK-8.3 / FD-11

Frost and the Flyers have a great matchup tonight against the Montreal Canadiens, with he and his linemates on PHI2 popping in projections. Frost sits atop of the ranks for value forwards on DraftKings, and even though he’s a bit lower on FanDuel, he’s still in an excellent spot.

Mason Marchment (W, DAL) – vs. MIN – ($4,200 / $5,800)
DFO Projection:
DK-9.2 / FD-12.3

After a slow start to the season, Marchment has found his stride on a lethal line in Dallas, playing alongside Matt Duchene and Tyler Seguin. The trio has had resurgence of their careers, and while the matchup score for DAL2 isn’t favourable, the Minnestoa Wild are banged up running a hodge-podge lineup.

Lukas Cormier (D, VGK) @ COL ($2,500 / N/A)
DFO Projection: DK-5.6 / FD-N/A

Cormier is a DraftKings-only play, as FanDuel doesn’t have him in their player pool. That being said, he’s an excellent play tonight projecting for the second most ice-time of any Golden Knights defencemen. In his NHL debut Saturday night, he even got some time on the top power play unit, notching an assist in the game.

Jordan Harris (D, MTL) @ PHI ($2,500 / $3,700)
DFO Projection: DK-5.4 / FD-7

Another cheap play popping tonight is Harris, who looks like excellent value on the slate tonight.

Top 3 Punt Defencemen

  1. Esa Lindell, DAL ($3,500/$4,000): DK-6.5 / FD-8.3
  2. Zach Bogosian, MIN ($2,500/$3,700): DK-5.1 / FD-6.3
  3. Nick Seeler, PHI ($3,700/$4,100): DK-5.6 / FD-7.1
