DailyFaceoff NHL March Madness Challenge 2017!

Alright, let’s have a little fun. This morning I tweeted out an image of what an NHL Single Elimination Bracket would look like with the way the current standings are. The response was huge with people wanting to see it. Unfortunately it is never going to happen, so the closest we can get is an NHL 17 simulation.

Below is the bracket. Please save the image and fill out your bracket and leave it in the comment section below. I will begin the simulation on Friday evening. I will be updating the NHL17 lines to match those on our site. So player injuries WILL be taken into effect. I will start with the Maple Leafs vs. Islanders game and alternate sides of the bracket until the first round is complete. I will be creating a post that updates each game and updated standings!

Points will be allotted as follows:

• 1st Round: 10 points
• 2nd Round: 20 points
• 3rd Round: 40 Points
• 4th Round: 80 Points
• Champion: 100 points
