The Detroit Red Wings have re-signed forward Michael Rassmussen to a three-year contract extension.

As first reported by PuckPedia, the deal is worth an AAV of $1.46-million and breaks down as the following:

Year one – $1-million

Year two – $1.48-million

Year three – $1.9-million

Upon the end of his deal, he will be due a qualifying offer of $1.752-million, PuckPedia reports.
