Tyler Seguin – C – Stars ($7,200)

It has been a few games where Ken Hitchcock has kept Seguin on a line with Benn and Shore and it would appear that line is staying intact tonight. While the Devils are a improved team from last year they have been playing a lot more high event hockey which has to favor Dallas in this game. The production of Seguin has increased over his past six games with five goals and two assists. He is in play is every format tonight and if you are using Seguin in GPPs it would be wise to pair him with Jamie Benn and John Klingberg for power play correlation.

Clayton Keller -W – Coyotes ($5,400)

Targeting the Predators is not something I normally like to do, however, even with Ryan Ellis returning last game, the Preds have been a tad leaky defensively and it showed against Vegas. Most perceive the Coyotes as a bad team and maybe they are but they definitely aren’t as bad as how they started the year and no one is hotter on the team right now than Clayton Keller. He has an eight game point streak going with two goals, six assists, and 23 shots on goal. His price is $5400 on DraftKings which is more than reasonable for his production and someone playing close to 20 minutes a night. I think you can make a case for using Keller in cash tonight as winger is kinda thin but I would be more apt to using Keller and the Coyotes in GPPs.

Brent Burns – D – Sharks ($7,000)

Shocking. I’m writing up Brent Burns, but really it’s hard not to even on a large slate. The Sharks are traveling to Toronto to face the Maple Leafs tonight who don’t exactly strike fear defensively. At $7000 on DraftKings his price is more than reasonable considering he plays about 25 minutes a night and is all over the power play. Any time he takes the ice he is a threat for a multi point game and if you can get him into your lineups in GPPs it would certainly be a good thing. In cash there is no such thing as a lock but he is as close as it gets.

Value

Timo Meier – W – Sharks ($3,600)

The only reason Meier is in the value section is because of his price. He is a great value tonight at $3600 on DraftKings. Meier has been moved up to the top line with the Joe’s and he is getting power play time. He is still only seeing 14-15 minutes a night but at his price he is definitely worth a roster spot. This is a very good spot going against the Leafs tonight and this game could see some high event hockey. I would imagine Meier will garner some ownership tonight considering he is coming off a two goal game against the Canadiens including a power play goal, however, I would use him in any format tonight.

Sam Girard – D – Avalanche ($2,800)

With Tyson Barrie being out for a while for the Avalanche this means a bigger opportunity for Sam Girard who was recently acquired in a trade with the Predators. With the increased playing time, going from 12-13 minutes a night to around 18, Girard is also seeing power play time which increases his value a lot. He has taken advantage of the opportunity with three assists, three shots on goal, and six blocked shots over his past three games. This doesn’t seem like a massive amount of production, however at his price of $2800 on DraftKings this is great value in both cash and GPPs.
