DFO Stacks 12/09/17

Boston

The Boston Bruins get a matchup with the New York Islanders at home tonight, and I can’t help but love the top line of David Pastrnak – Patrice Bergeron – Brad Marchand tonight. They’re very expensive at $20,700 to full stack on DraftKings, however, stacking against NYI when they’re on the road is always lucrative. While the top line will be hard matched against the Tavares line this doesn’t really worry me as that line has a 48% CF and gives up 30SCA/60 and a third of those chances are high danger. If you want to make it a full four man stack Torrey Krug or Charlie McAvoy are the defensemen of choice.

Tampa Bay

While the best player for the Lightning, Nikita Kucherov is on the second line, my preference for the Lightning is the top line of Namestnikov – Stamkos – Johnson. They have only been together for a few games now but their numbers are pretty incredible. They have a 64% CF and they generate a whopping 42SCF/60 and over HALF of them are high danger chances. Since the game is in Winnipeg they will most likely be matched up against the Little line but their defensive numbers aren’t anything spectacular not to mention the Jets penalty kill is abysmal. On the blue line the defenseman of choice would be Hedman or Sergachev.

Colorado

The Avs aren’t a very good team but the top line of Landeskog – MacKinnon – Rantanen have been very good. They’re on the road tonight facing a Panthers team without Roberto Luongo and Aleksander Barkov. Since they’re in Florida they will matched up with the top line of the Panthers sans Barkov. MacKinnon is an emerging talent and on a line that generates 26SCF/60 facing a line without their top defensive center bumps them up a lot for me. On the blue line I would use either Tyson Barrie or Erik Johnson.

Arizona

My favorite value line of the night is the second line for the Yotes which is Domi – Dvorak – Fischer. They’re super cheap which allows you to fill out the rest of your lineup with studs and they are getting the Blue Jackets on a back to back without Bob in net. Also the Jackets don’t hard match so the Dvorak line will be out on the ice at times with very favorable matchups. This line has only been together for about 60 minutes 5v5 but they are generating 38SCF/60 and almost 2/3 of them have been high danger. If you want to make it a full stack I would use OEL or Chychrun on the blue line.
