DFS Lines to Target: 02/19/20

There are six games on the slate for this Wednesday night in the NHL. I’ve gone over my top high-priced and value stacks to help you out. Good luck!

High-Priced

Boston 1 – Brad Marchand ($7,900), Patrice Bergeron ($8,100), David Pastrnak ($8,500)

Boston’s top line continues to be one of the best in the NHL and should have no problem producing against the Oilers tonight. They will see a mix of Edmonton’s top-nine and will hold an even-strength advantage in each one of their matchups. The Oilers have risen to the top of the Pacific Division standings, but their defensive play remains lackluster. They have a 5-3-0 record since the start of February but have given up at least three goals in all but two of those games.

Marchand comes into this game with five assists in his last three games, while Bergeron has scored in three straight games and has seven points in his last seven games. Pastrnak was held of the scoresheet against the Rangers on Sunday, but he’s still got four goals and seven points in his last five outings. Each player in this stack is on Boston’s lethal first power-play unit, which has been one of the best in the league. It’s a premium price to pay, but Boston 1 is the best option tonight when you look at the line matchups and the Oilers’ defensive struggles.

Value Stack

NYR 2 – Artemi Panarin ($7,600), Ryan Strome ($5,300), Jesper Fast ($3,500)

Both NYR 1 and NYR 2 are solid options in their game against the Blackhawks tonight. Both these lines will see a mix of Chicago’s top-nine and will hold a five-on-five advantage over each of them. The best value comes with the Panarin line due to the cheaper price and the Russian’s forward’s ability to drive play. While this line has a solid 51.60 CF%, it’s their 64.35 HDCF% in 350 minutes of ice time that is most impressive. They should generate plenty of high-quality chances against a Chicago team that ranks second-last in the league in high danger corsi against (607).

Both Panarin and Strome come into this game riding impressive point streaks. Panarin has two goals and seven points amidst a six-game streak, while Strome has two goals and five points during a five-game point streak. Fast isn’t producing as well as the other two, but he’s still got 24 points in 57 games this year. Panarin and Strome offer extra value on PP1 against a struggling Blackhawks PK that has given up five goals in its last six games.
