The LA Kings are getting a boost.

Defenseman Drew Doughty will be returning to the lineup Tuesday night when the LA Kings take on the Anaheim Ducks.

Doughty, 31, missed the last 16 games after a collision with Dallas Stars defenseman Jani Hakanpaa on Oct. 22. The Kings defenseman suffered a contusion on the play and the team initially expected him to miss eight weeks.
