Alex Lyon (DET) – @ SJS (30% Owned)
It’s a jam-packed night in the NHL, so you may not need a streamer, but Lyon may be better than the options on your roster, especially if you own someone like Carter Hart (@ EDM). Lyon has played exceptionally well this season, going 5-4-0 with a 2.47 GAA, .920 SV% and one shutout. Of goalies with at least five starts this season, he’s 14th in the league in Goals Saved Above Expected/60 (0.483), sandwiched between Igor Shesterkin and Linus Ullmark, pretty good company.
Tonight, he will face a Sharks team on an eight-game losing streak and has scored just 1.4 goals per game during that time. The Red Wings are sizeable -193 road favourites, so Lyon has the fifth-highest implied win% and sixth-lowest implied goals against on the slate. Not bad for someone who is still available in 70 percent of leagues.
