Trying to decide which goalies to start is a dilemma that Fantasy Hockey owners face daily.
We here at DailyFaceoff try to make being a Fantasy Owner as easy as possible. Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against are generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals.
In addition to the Starting Goalies Rankings table, we will have a write-up about the best streaming options for that day (if any).

Kaapo Kahkonen (SJS @ ANA) – 12% Rostered
Charlie Lindgren is the top spot-start option but is 46 percent rostered, so start him first if he’s available in your league; if not Kahkonen is the next best option. Kahkonen has been inconsistent this season, giving up more than three goals in nine games and three or fewer goals in six games. He’s coming off of a strong outing in Chicago, stopping 20 of 22 shots (.909 SV%) but is 4-7-3 with an .872 SV% on the season. He can only be trusted in the easiest of matchups right now, so he should be serviceable vs. The Ducks–Anaheim has scored the second-fewest goals this season and are 28th in xGF/60 (2.59). Kahkonen has the fourth-highest implied win% (59.7%) and tied for the third-lowest implied goals against (3.00) on the slate.
