Trying to decide which goalies to start is a dilemma that Fantasy Hockey owners face daily.
We here at DailyFaceoff try to make being a Fantasy Owner as easy as possible. Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against are generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals.

Filip Gustavsson (MIN @ DAL) – 48% Rostered
The top two goalies on tonight’s mini two-game slate are 100% and 99% rostered. You’d be out of your mind to start Spencer Martin (9% rostered) since he’s 4-11-0 with an awful .862 SV% in his last 15 outings. So the only reasonable spot-start target tonight is Gustavsson. The 24-year-old netminder is coming off of his worst performance in over a month but is 10-3-0 with a .933 SV% and one shutout in his last 13 games. The matchup isn’t great, Dallas is ninth in both xGF/60 and GF/60 this season, but it shapes up to be a low-scoring game. Minnesota is still among the best defensive teams in the NHL, and the Stars are 6-4-4 while averaging 2.8 goals per game in their last 14. Gustavsson is your only option if you want to stream a goalie this evening.
