Trying to decide which goalies to start is a dilemma that Fantasy Hockey owners face daily. 

We here at DailyFaceoff try to make being a Fantasy Owner as easy as possible. Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against are generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals. 

In addition to the Starting Goalies Rankings table, we will have a write-up about the best streaming options for that day (if any).

Kevin Lankinen (NSH vs. ARI) – 9% Rostered

Lankinen was brilliant in his last outing, stopping 39 of 40 shots in a win over the Blue Jackets on January 17th. Lankinen hasn’t played a lot this season, and he’s been pretty inconsistent, but there’s been more good than bad. He has a .958 SV% in his last two starts and has a .924 SV% on the season. As impressive as those numbers are, he’s allowed at least four goals in four of his 10 starts, so there is some risk here. With that said, Lankinen has the highest implied win% (69.6%) and lowest implied goals against (2.40) on the slate, so he’s one of the best options available tonight.
