Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against is generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals.

Kaapo Kahkonen (MIN) — vs. DET (52% Owned)
Kahkonen will get the start tonight for the Minnesota Wild in a matchup against the Detroit Red Wings. The Wild have won 10 of their last 12 games (10-1-1) and are -226 home favourites against a Red Wings team that is fighting to stay alive in the Eastern Conference playoff race.
Kahkonen won’t be available in most deeper leagues and rightfully so. He is having a tremendous season and is 6-1-1 in his last nine appearances with a 2.24 GAA and .936 SV%. Cam Talbot (92% owned) has seen the majority of starts this season in Minnesota but has been the least consistent of the two goalies. Kahkonen looks to be a good stream tonight and for the remainder of the season as he should continue seeing a solid workload, rotating starts with Talbot.
