Streaming Targets 🎯
Casey DeSmith (PIT @ SJS) – 25% Rostered
With Tristan Jarry still not ready, DeSmith will start again Tuesday and will be a top spot-start option yet again. DeSmith struggled on Saturday, getting pulled after allowing three goals on 15 shots (.800 SV%). That has been the story of DeSmith’s season, inconsistent play on a night-to-night basis. Sometimes sopping 40-plus shots in a winning effort, other times getting absolutely lit up. Tonight he faces a Sharks team that has lost eight of their last 12 (4-5-3), and he has the fourth-highest implied win% (61.2%) and tied for the sixth-lowest implied goals against (2.90).
Jake Allen (MTL vs. CHI) – 24% Rostered
Allen is another solid option on Tuesday, taking on the lowly Blackhawks on home ice. Allen was outstanding on Sunday, stopping 29 of 31 shots in a surprising win over the Oilers. Overall, he’s been pretty inconsistent this season, going 11-17-2 with a 3.53 GAA and .892 SV%. However, on Tuesday, he has the fifth-highest implied win% (57.8%), and fifth-lowest implied goals against (2.80), so he should be a decent streaming target.
