Fantasy Hockey: Daily Goalie Rankings – 02/16/23

Welcome to our Goalie Rankings brought to you by NHL Lines site Betway!

Trying to decide which goalies to start is a dilemma that Fantasy Hockey owners face daily.

We here at DailyFaceoff try to make being a Fantasy Owner as easy as possible. Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against are generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals.

In addition to the Starting Goalies Rankings table, we will have a write-up about the best streaming options for that day (if any).

Keep an eye on our Starting Goalies page to ensure the goals listed below are CONFIRMED to start.

Streaming Targets 🎯

Antti Raanta (CAR vs. MTL) – 42% Rostered

Raanta is the clear No.1 spot-start option on Thursday but isn’t available in 42 percent of leagues. Raanta has been outstanding in his last 10 games, going 9-0-1 with a .908 SV% and two shutouts. Raanta has the highest implied win% (81.2%) and lowest implied goals against (2.00) on the eight-game slate, so he’s as good of an option as you will find on Thursday.

Dan Vladar (CGY vs. DET) – 29% Rostered

Valadar will face the Red Wings for the second time in a week. Last Thursday, he allowed two goals on 17 shots in a loss in Detroit, his first regulation loss since November 26th. He continues to look more and more like the Flames’ No.1 netminder, having won five of his last six while posting a .903 SV%. Tonight he has the second-highest implied win% (71.7%), and second-lowest implied goals against (2.50) on the slate, making him the second-best streaming option after Raanta.
