Trying to decide which goalies to start is a dilemma that Fantasy Hockey owners face daily.
We here at DailyFaceoff try to make being a Fantasy Owner as easy as possible. Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against are generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals.
In addition to the Starting Goalies Rankings table, we will have a write-up about the best streaming options for that day (if any).

Charlie Lindgren (WSH vs. ANA) – 20% Rostered
Lindgren hasn’t been very good since the calendar flipped to 2023, going 1-3-0 while allowing 15 goals on 124 shots (.879 SV%) in six appearances. However, he draws a favourable matchup on Thursday with the Ducks in town. Another positive for Lindgren is Alex Ovechkin (personal) returns to the lineup, which should help in the goal support category. However, the Capitals are scratching Dmitry Orlov and Garnet Hathaway for trade-related reasons. Still, he has the highest implied win% (76.1%) and lowest implied goals against (2.20) on the slate, making him the top spot-start target.
