Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against is generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals.

James Reimer (SJS) – vs. NYI (44% Owned)
Reimer had a great start to the season, posting a 13-8-1 record along with a .916 SV% and 2.74 GAA but has cooled off significantly of late as the Sharks are in the midst of a seven-game losing streak (0-3-4). Reimer has posted a .900 SV% and 3.39 GAA, starting each game during the Sharks’ current skid. Despite his struggles, Reimer could be in for a nice rebound performance against a New York Islanders team that ranks fourth-lowest in goals scored per game.
The Sharks are listed as +113 home underdogs tonight but are facing an Islanders team that is in the midst of their own struggles. The Islanders have lost four of their last six games (2-3-1) and have scored two goals or fewer in half of them. Reimer looks like the best of an ugly list of potential streaming options on Thursday.
