Daws has been a high-volume netminder for the Devils lately, playing reasonably well with quality starts in 50% of his outings. He is riding a two-game winning streak and was excellent in his last game, saving 29 of 31 shots (.935 SV%). In a favourable matchup against the low-scoring Anaheim Ducks, losers of three of their last four (1-2-1), Daws ranks number one among all goalie projections on a light Friday night with an overwhelming 71.8 implied win percentage. With Vitek Vanecek (lower-body) still sidelined, Daws will likely continue to control the workload in the Devils’ crease as he has produced more good than bad results.
