Goalie Rankings

Streaming Targets 🎯

UPDATE ⚠️ Alexandar Georgiev (NYR) – vs. ANA (9% Owned)

Alexandar Georgiev starts for the Rangers tonight. He looks like a reasonable streaming option as well, the matchup vs. the Ducks is solid. Anaheim has lost the first four games of their five-game road trip, which ends tonight in New York. They’ve averaged just 2.0 goals per game on the trip. Georgiev is undoubtedly risky though, he’s 0-4-0 with an .841 SV% in his last five appearances (four starts).

Erik Kallgren (TOR) – vs. DAL (4% Owned)

Kallgren will be making his first career NHL start on Tuesday night against the Dallas Stars. He replaced Petr Mrazek last Thursday against the Coyotes, stopping nine of the 10 shots that he faced. With Mrazek posting a .859 SV% in his last six appearances and Jack Campbell still hurt, Kallgren will get a shot to try and steady the Maple Leafs’ leaky goaltending situation. He has gone 15-8-1 with a 3.02 GAA and .904 SV% in 26 AHL games before being called up from the Toronto Marlies.

The Maple Leafs are -145 home favourites against a Dallas Stars team that has the 12th worst road record (12-14-2) in the NHL. The Stars also have the third-lowest road goals per game (2.39) this season, so there’s a chance Kallgren has a solid first start.

Sam Montembault (MTL) – vs. ARI (14% Owned)

The Montreal Canadiens are 8-5-1 since Martin St. Louis took over as head coach last month and the team has seen significant improvements in all areas, including goaltending. In his last 11 appearances, Montembault has a 5-4-1 record with a .908 SV% and one shutout, a significant improvement to the 2-8-4 record and .891 SV% he had before that.

Don’t be fooled by the Arizona Coyotes’ recent surge of offence as, despite having scored 31 goals in their last six games (5-1-0), they still rank 29th in goals scored this season. Montembault is far from a sure thing, but the Canadiens are -162 home favourites and will look to continue their winning ways.
