Trying to decide which goalies to start is a dilemma that Fantasy Hockey owners face daily.
We here at DailyFaceoff try to make being a Fantasy Owner as easy as possible. Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against are generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals.
In addition to the Starting Goalies Rankings table, we will have a write-up about the best streaming options for that day (if any).

Semyon Varlamov (NYI @ ANA) – 40% Rostered
Varlamov had a tough outing in his last start, allowing five goals on 27 shots in a loss to the Capitals. Since the start of January, he’s gone 3-5-1 with a 2.97 and .897 SV% in nine appearances. His game has slipped a bit, but he has a terrific matchup on Wednesday. Anaheim has lost 10 of their last 15 games (5-6-4) while averaging 2.8 goals for and 4.1 goals against per game. Varlamov grades out as the best goalie option on Wednesday because he has the highest implied win% (64.5%) and lowest implied goals against (2.40) on the slate.
