Trying to decide which goalies to start is a dilemma that Fantasy Hockey owners face daily.
We here at DailyFaceoff try to make being a Fantasy Owner as easy as possible. Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against are generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals.
In addition to the Starting Goalies Rankings table, we will have a write-up about the best streaming options for that day (if any).

Joel Hofer (STL vs. DET) – 21% Rostered
Hofer ranks lower than some other low-owned options tonight, but he feels like the safest option. Charlie Lindgren has a good matchup vs. the Blue Jackets, but he’s allowed at least three goals in seven straight starts. Craig Anderson and Dan Vladar are both unconfirmed when writing this (5:00 PM ET). Hofer has been outstanding since being recalled from the AHL, winning each of his starts while stopping 65 of 67 shots (.970 SV%). He draws a nice matchup vs. a banged-up Red Wings team travelling on the tail-end of a back-to-back with their backup goalie (Magnus Hellberg) getting the start.
