Erik Kallgren (TOR) – vs. BUF (24% Owned)

Kallgren will receive his eighth career start on Tuesday and look to improve on his previous performance, where he made 24 saves on 26 shots in a victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday. Since making his NHL debut last month, Kallgren has had a mixed bag of results with a 5-2-1 record and .904 SV% in nine appearances. The Toronto Maple Leafs are massive -445 home favourites against a Buffalo Sabres team that has lost three straight (0-3-0) and was shut out in their last game.

Despite the fact that Kallgren looks poised for a strong performance, don’t feel the need to force him into your lineup as there is a busy 14-game schedule Tuesday and you may be better suited to use your rostered goalies and save your weekly acquisitions for later in the week. It’s worth noting that before being shut out on Sunday, the Sabres were averaging 3.5 goals per game in their last 11 (5-3-3) and have played well against the Leafs this season, winning two of three meetings (2-1-0).
