Goalie Rankings

Streaming Targets 🎯
Adin Hill (VGK) – vs. SEA (65% Owned)
Logan Thompson (62% Owned) began last season as the starting goaltender for the Vegas Golden Knights and had an impressive campaign where he recorded a 2.65 GAA and .915 SV% in 37 games (21-13-3) before his season was derailed due to injuries. As a result, Hill was thrust into the starting role in the Stanley Cup Playoffs and performed admirably when called upon, posting a 2.17 GAA and .932 SV% in 16 appearances (11-4-0). The two will likely rotate starts this season, but Hill will get the nod tonight in the season opener.
As -155 home favourites against the Seattle Kraken, the Golden Knights have the second-highest implied win% (60.9%) on the slate, making Hill one of the best options on opening night.
Jonas Johansson (TBL) – vs. NSH (42% Owned)
With Andrei Vasilevskiy (99%) expected to miss the first two months of the season after undergoing back surgery, the Tampa Bay Lightning starting goalie position is now Johansson’s to lose. Johansson has been a journeyman for his entire career but will now have the opportunity to seize more NHL exposure than he has ever experienced. To date, Johansson’s NHL resume leaves much to be desired, posting a 3.35 GAA and .886 SV% in 35 games (11-13-4) across the last four years. However, in three appearances last season with the Colorado Avalanche (2-0-0), he posted an impressive 2.10 GAA and .932 SV%. Johansson is also coming off an excellent preseason, in which he recorded two shutouts and a 3-0-0 record.
Tonight, Tampa Bay is listed as a -146 home favourite against a Nashville Predators team that ranked fifth-worst in goals per game last season (2.72). If you took Johansson with your last draft pick or scooped him up off the wire, we’ll see if he will sink or swim tonight.
