Goalie Rankings

Streaming Targets 🎯
Akira Schmid (NJD) – vs. ARI (59% Owned)
Owned in more than half of all leagues, it is unlikely that Schmid is at your disposal to stream tonight, but given his matchup against the Arizona Coyotes (-227 home favourites), he looks primed for a strong performance. Schmid is not yet confirmed, but he will likely be tending the net for the first time this season after making a name for himself in playoffs with a 2.35 GAA and .921 SV%, along with two shutouts in nine appearances (4-4-0). The high-flying Devils will likely try to split time between their goaltending tandem of Schmid and Vitek Vanecek all season, so if Schmid is available, he makes for a good option beyond just tonight.
Charlie Lindgren (WSH) – vs. PIT (2% Owned)
With Darcy Kuemper likely away from the team for the birth of his newborn son, Lindgren makes for the best low-owned option on a quiet Friday night in the NHL. Lindgren struggled last season, recording a 3.05 GAA and .899 SV% in 31 games (13-11-3), but will hope to get things started on the right foot tonight against a Pittsburgh Penguins team that was held to just two goals in their season-opening loss to the Chicago Blackhawks. The Capitals are listed as +106 home underdogs against the Penguins tonight, but Lindgren is more likely to come away with a win than Karel Vejmelka.
