Goalie Rankings

Streaming Targets 🎯

Marc-Andre Fleury (MIN) – @ MTL (71% Owned)

The now 20-year veteran Fleury will make his first start of the season in his home province of Quebec as the Wild take on the Montreal Canadiens. Being rostered in over two-thirds of fantasy leagues, Fleury will not be a viable streaming option in most formats but looks poised to have a quality performance between the pipes tonight. Fleury posted a respectable 2.85 GAA and .908 SV% in 46 games last season (24-16-4) and now seems to have settled into his position, backing up Filip Gustavsson. His Vezina-caliber seasons are now behind him, but as -132 road favourites, Fleury and the Wild should be able to secure a victory tonight.

Jack Campbell (EDM) – @ NSH (34% Owned)

An Edmonton Oilers team hungry for their first win of the season (0-2-0), listed as -130 road favourites, facing off against a traditionally low-scoring Nashville Predators team would all typically point to a strong goaltending projection for the Oilers. However, with Campbell starting between the pipes, all logic needs to be put to rest, at least for the time being. Campbell has become the picture of inconsistency for NHL netminders and, after allowing four goals on 16 shots in his forgettable season debut, looks destined to repeat his up-and-down campaign from a year ago, where he averaged a quality start in only every third game. If you feel like flipping a coin, Campbell looks like the best of some horrible options, as he has a 56.0% implied Win% and 3.1 implied goals against.
