Fantasy Hockey: Daily Goalie Rankings – 10/18/22

Trying to decide which goalies to start is a dilemma that Fantasy Hockey owners face daily.

We here at DailyFaceoff try to make being a Fantasy Owner as easy as possible. Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against are generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals.

In addition to the Starting Goalies Rankings table, we will have a write-up about the best streaming options for that day (if any).

Keep an eye on our Starting Goalies page to make sure the goalies listed below are CONFIRMED to start.

Stuart Skinner (EDM) – 30% Rostered

Skinner will be making his first start of the season after dazzling in relief on Saturday. Skinner stopped all 31 shots that he faced after replacing Jack Campbell in the loss to the Flames. In 15 career appearances (13 starts), Skinner has posted a strong 2.63 GAA, .915 SV% and one shutout. The Oilers have a powerhouse offence and will give Skinner a shot at recording the victory whenever he gets the nod. Tonight he’ll face a Sabres team that is 1-1-0 while scoring 3.5 goals per game so far. The sportsbooks give Skinner a 70 percent chance of winning tonight, the highest among readily available, confirmed starting netminders.
