Fantasy Hockey: Daily Goalie Rankings – 10/25/22

Welcome to our Goalie Rankings brought to you by NHL Lines site Betway!

Trying to decide which goalies to start is a dilemma that Fantasy Hockey owners face daily.

We here at DailyFaceoff try to make being a Fantasy Owner as easy as possible. Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against are generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals.

In addition to the Starting Goalies Rankings table, we will have a write-up about the best streaming options for that day (if any).

Keep an eye on our Starting Goalies page to make sure the goalies listed below are CONFIRMED to start.

Daniil Tarasov (vs. ARI) – 6% Rostered

Tarasov earned his second straight start after stopping 30 of 31 shots in the Blue Jackets win in Madison Square Garden on Sunday. It was a nice bounce-back performance for the 23-year-old, who had a .890 SV% in his first two outings. Through seven career appearances (six starts), he’s posted a strong .924 SV% and is a no brainer tonight vs. the Coyotes. Arizona is 1-4-0 and is being outscored 5.2 to 2.6 so far. Tarasov is just 6% rostered, so he should be available on your waiver wire! Run, go pick him up!

Adin Hill (@ SJS) – 13% Rostered

If someone beat you to Tarasov, Hill is also readily available and has a nice matchup on Tuesday. He’ll start in San Jose against his former team and comes into play at 2-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .934 SV%. Vegas has played very well so far, ranking top-5 in xGA/60, so they should do a good job in front of Hill tonight. At the other end, the Sharks are the lowest-scoring team (1.88 GF/gm) in the NHL right now and their metrics (6th-lowest xGF/60) suggest it’s probably not getting better any time soon. The sportsbooks give Hill a 61.7 percent chance at the win tonight.
