Trying to decide which goalies to start is a dilemma that Fantasy Hockey owners face daily. 

We here at DailyFaceoff try to make being a Fantasy Owner as easy as possible. Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against are generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals. 

In addition to the Starting Goalies Rankings table, we will have a write-up about the best streaming options for that day (if any).

Brian Elliott (@ ANA) – 10% Rostered

The Lightning are coming off of a loss in Los Angeles last night and will likely turn to Brian Elliott on Wednesday. Elliott has struggled a bit this season, giving up a combined eight goals on 79 shots (.899 SV%) in a loss in Pittsburgh and a win over the Islanders. However, he draws a strong matchup vs. the Ducks, who are second last in the NHL in 5v5 xGF% (39.7). In All Situations, they are third-worst in xGF (2.4) and xGA (3.7), so Elliott should get plenty of goal support and shouldn’t face many quality chances tonight.
