Fantasy Hockey: Daily Goalie Rankings – 11/01/22

Welcome to our Goalie Rankings brought to you by NHL Lines site Betway!

Trying to decide which goalies to start is a dilemma that Fantasy Hockey owners face daily.

We here at DailyFaceoff try to make being a Fantasy Owner as easy as possible. Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against are generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals.

In addition to the Starting Goalies Rankings table, we will have a write-up about the best streaming options for that day (if any).

Keep an eye on our Starting Goalies page to ensure the goals listed below are CONFIRMED to start.

GOALIE RANKINGS PRESENTED BY BETWAY

Streaming Targets 🎯

Dan Vladar (CGY vs. SEA) – 7% Rostered

Vladar will make his first start since October 20th and comes in at 1-1-1 with a 3.03 GAA and .896 SV%. On Tuesday, he’ll face a Kraken team that ranks 11th in the NHL in goals per game (3.28) but they’ll roll with Joey Daccord between the pipes. Daccord has a .878 SV% in 14 career NHL appearances, so the chances of Vladar registering a victory are pretty good.

Scott Wedgewood (DAL vs. LAK) – 10% Rostered

Wedgewood is worth an add with Jake Oettinger out for at least one week. His matchup on Tuesday isn’t great, but the Kings come in on a back-to-back and the Stars are -139 home favourites. If you pick him up now, he’ll be on your roster for Thursday’s game in Arizona, his former team and the NHL’s worst xGF/60 (2.05) offence. Saturday’s matchup in Edmonton is awful, but you can get at least two starts out of Wedgewood this week.

Kaapo Kahkonen (SJS vs. ANA) – 8% Rostered

Kahkonen has played well in his last two starts, stopping 56 of 61 shots (.918 SV%) while going 1-1-0. On Tuesday, he’ll face a Ducks team that is 2-6-1 in their first nine games and rank 31st in the NHL in All Situation xGF/60 (2.31) — better than only the Arizona Coyotes. The Sharks offence isn’t much better, but they’ve been solid defensively, ranking 12th in xGA/60 (3.04). It’s a good spot to spot-start Kahkonen if you’re in need of an early-week streaming option. The Sharks are -134 home favourites.
