Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen (BUF) – vs. PHI (32% Owned)
Available in two-thirds of fantasy leagues, Luukkonen seems poised to be an excellent streaming option, with a 60.3 implied win percentage. Luukkonen has saved 61 of the last 63 shots he has seen (.968 SV%) over the last two games (2-0-0), including a 23-save shutout, and is currently doing everything in his ability to ensure he continues to see game-action, even with a healthy Devon Levi in the roster. The Sabres have won three of their last four games and are -154 home favourites against a Philadelphia Flyers team that is not only without starting goalie Carter Hart, but also top-six forward, Sean Couturier.
Akira Schmid (NJD) – @ STL (40% Owned)
Schmid has not been confirmed yet as the starting goalie for the Devils but with Vitek Vanecek having played last night in a 5-3 victory over the Minnesota Wild, all signs point to the Swiss goalie making his fourth start of the season. Schmid has had trouble finding his game after an impressive playoff run last season but will be given a golden opportunity on Friday as the Devils visit the low-scoring St. Louis Blues. The Blues have the second-worst offence in the league, averaging only 1.75 goals per game through eight contests this season (3-4-1).
