Trying to decide which goalies to start is a dilemma that Fantasy Hockey owners face daily. 

We here at DailyFaceoff try to make being a Fantasy Owner as easy as possible. Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against are generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals. 

In addition to the Starting Goalies Rankings table, we will have a write-up about the best streaming options for that day (if any).

Antti Raanta (CAR @ STL) – 39% Rostered

There aren’t many good streaming options on a busy Thursday night, but Raanta sticks out as the best option if he’s available in your league. He’s coming off of an 18-save performance in a win over the Flames last Saturday. Raanta has gone 4-2-2 with a 2.47 GAA and .901 SV% in eight starts this season. Tonight he faces a Blues team that has been wildly inconsistent this season. They’ve lost three of their last four and rank 25th in xGF/60 (2.92) this season. The Hurricanes have an implied win% of 57.5% (-135 favourites), and the Blues have the fourth-lowest implied total (2.6), making Raanta a top-10 option on Thursday evening.
