Trying to decide which goalies to start is a dilemma that Fantasy Hockey owners face daily. 

We here at DailyFaceoff try to make being a Fantasy Owner as easy as possible. Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against are generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals. 

In addition to the Starting Goalies Rankings table, we will have a write-up about the best streaming options for that day (if any).

David Rittich (WPG @ CBJ) – 8% Rostered

There are three heavy favourites on tonight’s slate, and you aren’t going to be able to stream Ilya Sorokin or Igor Shesterkin, so you are left with Rittich as the most viable option. Rittich hasn’t had to be great this year, winning three of his four appearances while posting a 2.77 GAA and .890 SV%. That’s probably what you can expect tonight, Rittich to give up two or three goals and earn the W. The Blue Jackets are in town and rank 26th in the NHL in xGF/60 (2.8), making Rittich the best of some poor options on this three-game slate. Rittich has an implied Win% of 66.1%, which is 25 percent higher than the next closest streaming option (Kevin Lankinen).
