Fantasy Hockey: Daily Goalie Rankings – 12/05/22

Welcome to our Goalie Rankings brought to you by NHL Lines site Betway!

Trying to decide which goalies to start is a dilemma that Fantasy Hockey owners face daily.

We here at DailyFaceoff try to make being a Fantasy Owner as easy as possible. Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against are generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals.

In addition to the Starting Goalies Rankings table, we will have a write-up about the best streaming options for that day (if any).

Keep an eye on our Starting Goalies page to ensure the goals listed below are CONFIRMED to start.

Streaming Targets 🎯

Spencer Martin (VAN vs. MTL) – 34% Rostered

With Thatcher Demko out, Martin is a great streaming option but should also continue to be rostered moving forward while he’s acting as the Canucks’ No.1 netminder. Martin has gone 4-1-0 with an .899 SV% in his last six appearances and draws a terrific matchup vs. the Canadiens on Monday. Montreal will roll with Sam Montembeault and will be without Brendan Gallagher and David Savard. The Canucks have the second-highest Win% (68.8%) and the Canadiens have the third-lowest Implied Total (2.6), so Martin is one of the best options on the entire slate.

Dan Vladar (CGY vs. ARI) – 24% Rostered

Vladar seems to be taking over last the Flames’ starting goalie, as he’ll start for the fifth time in seven games. He’s been dynamite in his last four starts, going 2-1-1 with a .940 SV%, significantly better than his first four starts (.880 SV%). He has an outstanding matchup with the Coyotes in town, coming in with the highest Win% (77.2%) and lowest implied goals against (2.1).
