Fantasy Hockey: Daily Goalie Rankings – 12/07/22

Welcome to our Goalie Rankings brought to you by NHL Lines site Betway!

Trying to decide which goalies to start is a dilemma that Fantasy Hockey owners face daily.

We here at DailyFaceoff try to make being a Fantasy Owner as easy as possible. Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against are generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals.

In addition to the Starting Goalies Rankings table, we will have a write-up about the best streaming options for that day (if any).

Keep an eye on our Starting Goalies page to ensure the goals listed below are CONFIRMED to start.

Dan Vladar (CGY vs. MIN) – 31% Rostered

I wrote about Vladar on Monday, and he stopped 18 of 20 shots in the Flames’ win over the Coyotes. On Wednesday, he’ll start for the fifth time in six games as he continues to syphon starts from Jacob Markstrom. Vladar is on a three-game winning streak while stopping 76 of 82 shots (.927 SV%). He’ll face a Wild team that has been on a roll, winning four in a row, but the sportsbooks still like the Flames. Vladar has an implied Win% of 59.5 percent, and the third-lowest implied goals against (2.8), making him a great spot-start option.

Charlie Lindgren (WSH @ PHI) – 10% Rostered

Lindgren will make his second straight start with Darcy Kuemper still out, and he’s coming off a 28-save win in Edmonton on Monday. He draws a much easier matchup on Wednesday in Philadelphia. The Flyers have lost 12 of their last 14 games and have the second-lowest xGF/60 (2.47) in the NHL. Lindgren has the fifth-highest implied Win% (57.1%) and the fourth-lowest implied goals against (2.9).
