Trying to decide which goalies to start is a dilemma that Fantasy Hockey owners face daily.
We here at DailyFaceoff try to make being a Fantasy Owner as easy as possible. Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against are generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals.

Brian Elliott (TBL vs. NSH) – 8% Rostered
Elliott has been a solid spot-start option this season, winning five straight games despite posting an .886 SV%. The Lightning have been able to provide him with terrific goal support, and that should be the case again on Thursday. The Predators are averaging the sixth-most xGA/60 (3.41) in the NHL. Elliott is best utilized in points leagues, where goals against hurt you a little less. If your splits are already crushed in category leagues, he’s a great selection for owners looking for a win. The Lightning have the third-highest Implied Win% (63.6%) on the slate.
