Trying to decide which goalies to start is a dilemma that Fantasy Hockey owners face daily. 

We here at DailyFaceoff try to make being a Fantasy Owner as easy as possible. Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against are generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals. 

In addition to the Starting Goalies Rankings table, we will have a write-up about the best streaming options for that day (if any).

Daniil Tarasov (CBJ @ CHI) – 6% Rostered

Tarasov will be making his fifth consecutive start on Friday and comes in at 2-7-1 with a. 3.13 GAA and .913 SV% in 11 appearances (10 starts). While his win total still leaves much to be desired, Tarasov’s .913 SV% is tied for 18th in the NHL with Juuse Saros and Stuart Skinner. Tarasov has played very well; he just hasn’t had a lot of help in front of him. He should be able to get that tonight, as the Blackhawks come in with the second-lowest xGF/60 (2.45) and 11th-highest xGA/60 (3.25) in the NHL.
