Streaming Targets 🎯
David Rittich (LAK) – vs SJS (6% Owned)
There is a heavy 14-game slate in the NHL on Wednesday on the first day back from the Christmas break, and the low-owned Rittich ranks third amongst all goaltending projections and is a must-start in most fantasy formats. On the front end of a back-to-back, Rittich will look to recreate his performance against the Sharks from last week, when he saved 15 of 16 shots (.938 SV%) in his debut with the Kings, a 4-1 victory. The Kings have won three of their last four (3-1-0) and are huge -344 home favourites against a Sharks team that has lost five straight (0-5-0), scoring only nine goals in that span. With Phoenix Copley out of the lineup for the foreseeable future, Rittich will likely continue to be a strong streaming option whenever he occupies the crease for a defensively stout Kings club.
