Goalie Rankings

Streaming Targets 🎯

Casey DeSmith (VAN) – vs PHI (6% Owned)

In their first game back from the Christmas break, the Canucks will turn to DeSmith and give Thatcher Demko an extended rest, as they will not play again until January 2nd. DeSmith last played on December 19th, saving 26 of 28 shots (.929 SV%) in a 5-2 win over the Nashville Predators, and is amid a hot streak, allowing two goals or less, posting a .965 SV% while recording at least a point in each of his last three contests (2-0-1). DeSmith grades out as the best projection on a light Thursday night in the NHL and makes for an excellent streaming option in a shorter-than-usual fantasy week.

Antti Raanta (CAR) – vs MTL (18% Owned)

Raanta has not been confirmed yet but will, in all likelihood, start on the back end of a back-to-back for the Hurricanes on Thursday. Despite his well-documented struggles, resulting in him being placed on waivers earlier this month, Raanta still projects second amongst all goalies on Thursday with a 71.8 win percentage. Over his last five contests (0-3-1), Raanta has allowed 23 goals, posting an atrocious .805 SV%. Even with a favourable matchup against the Montreal Canadiens, proceed cautiously when streaming Raanta on Thursday.
